We firmly believe that each and every student has the ability to tap into his or her genius. Our curriculum encourages students to grow academically, as well as through the arts and sports so that they have the experience and confidence to succeed in a variety of different fields when they leave PS 20.

After-school piano classes, taught by the Piano School of New York's highly trained teachers, will focus on introducing piano performance, music theory, piano technique, and music history during small group classes. The goal is to create a fun, participatory environment for children to gain an appreciation for music and the piano, while fostering creativity and self confidence. At the end of every school year the children will also have the opportunity to perform in a recital, as we come together to celebrate and share what we've learned.  We'll conduct the K-5 group on Wednesdays starting at 2:50 and that class will last 30-45 minutes depending on class size.
