Mosaic After School (full-time or part time)

Mosaic’s goal is to raise much-needed funding for the PTA to continue to support valuable school programs and initiatives that champion the social and academic success of all PS 20 students. Our program expands on cluster programming in an after school environment, makes connections to classroom learning, and exposes students to diverse opportunities, all while having fun and keeping kids engaged.

Here is an example of what your child’s Mosaic afternoon looks like:

2:40-3:30PM    Students arrive, get settled, have a snack, play quietly with their friends, and do homework

3:30-5:00PM    Enrichment classes (e.g. chess, hip-hop dance, drama, art, robotics, and more)

5:00-6:00PM    Free play until pick-up (we take the children to the schoolyard, weather and daylight permitting)

*  NOTE: On Tuesdays, enrichment classes run from 4:00 – 5:30 due to mandated DOE scheduled meetings for teachers and use of classrooms.

For more information, visit the Mosaic website at mosaic.ps20.org, or email mosaic@ps20.org.

Mosaic offers programming for Pre-K through 5th grade for $30/day, and offers various discounts including a full-time (5 days) discount and sibling discount. Please visit our website for details.

On Fridays, Mosaic also offers a “Play Zone” free play/homework option for $22/day. We hope to expand this to other days in the future.
