SUMMER CAMPS 2026 OVERVIEW

Below is a partial list of local summer camp programs and activities operating for Summer Break 2026 in Fort Greene, Clinton Hill and adjacent neighborhoods (email comm@ps20.org for any suggestions or comments)!

NOTE: This list is purely informational and does not indicate endorsement or affiliation. Questions regarding each program should be directed to the respective organization.

• NYC DOE Summer Rising 2026:

  • Summer Rising is FREE and open to any NYC student currently in Kindergarten through Grade 8.

  • The application will open on March 3, and close March 27, 2026. Offers for acceptance will be notified via MySchools in April.

  • Families can apply for Summer Rising online using MySchools, our online directory and application system.

  • For students in Grades K–5: The program will run from July 1 to August 14 2026; program runs from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Brooklyn Explorers / World Explorers Group (36 St. Felix Street)

• BASIS Independent Brooklyn Day Camp (405 Gold Street + 556 Columbia Street)
