Please note that not all parent-teacher conferences and testing dates seen on the DOE Public Schools Calendar or 2024-25 School Year apply to PS20 specifically, as those calendars cover upper grades and there can be multiple dates for the same activity staggered across schools.

OVERVIEW OF Monthly EVENTS

  • School and Families Meeting (aka PTA General Meeting) - usually scheduled every 3rd Thursday of the month in the evening over Zoom (subject to change if there are conflicts with DOE breaks, or if held as an in-person/hybrid meeting)

  • Families as Learning Partners - usually scheduled every 3rd Friday of the month in person in the classroom (subject to change if there are conflicts with DOE breaks, individual classroom schedules, etc)

  • SLT Meeting

  • School-hosted events such as Chat’n’ Chew with Principal, Technology Tuesdays, etc.

  • Committee-hosted events such as Movie Nights, Heritage Celebrations, etc.
