Outside the zone? Apply anyway. Zoned families get first priority, but we admit children from across District 13 and beyond every year, and siblings and current students have their own priority.
The PS 20 zone covers most of Fort Greene and western Clinton Hill: Myrtle Avenue to the north, Fulton Street & Greene Avenue to the south, and Fleet Street, Fleet Place, and Fair Street on the western edge. The eastern boundary changes each block and follows Emerson Place, Washington Avenue, half a block between St James Place and Classon Avenue, Waverly Avenue, and Adelphi Street.
The PS 20 zone covers most of Fort Greene and the western part of Clinton Hill — roughly Myrtle Avenue down to Fulton Street and Greene Avenue, with Fleet Street, Fleet Place and Fair Street along the western edge.
The eastern edge is irregular. It steps between Emerson Place, Washington Avenue, Waverly Avenue and Adelphi Street, and for one stretch it runs half a block between St James Place and Classon Avenue.
