The mission of the PS20 Talent Show is to give an opportunity for students to experience the magic of developing and performing their own work live.

Work on a potential act on your own or with a group, and submit your audition video! See below for more details.

seeking parent volunteers!

Looking for help in stage management, vendors, reception, set design, video, program / poster design, ushers, etc.

* NEW for 2026 * Selection Committee - it’s heartwarming to watch audition videos together; in-person watch party over Spring Break.

    • Audition submission deadline: Tuesday, April 7

    • Create your act thoughtfully

    • Rehearse independently

    • Ask questions in dance class, in music with Mr. Hampton, or Konstella DM or email Mr. Chung at dchung4@schools.nyc.gov

    1. Grades 1-5 Only

    2. ENSEMBLE (group) acts preferred

    3. ORIGINAL & UNIQUE acts preferred: your own lyrics, choreography, idea, rather than performing someone else’s music/choreography

      Harder to get in: Singers and dancers, especially hiphop and pop.
      Easier to get in: Clowns, puppeteers, gymnasts, martial artists, comedians, etc

    4. TIME LIMIT: Should be no more than 2:59 max (2 minutes, 59 seconds).

    5. INCLUSION: We aspire to give everyone a chance to perform at least once in their PS20 years.

  • All auditioners will be notified of their status on Monday, April 13. Rehearsal schedule and performance details will be given then.
