Before your first week:
Create a NYC Schools Parent Account and add your student — that's where forms, attendance and grades live.
Register for Konstella — look for “PS 20 The Clinton Hill School”. Announcements, class organizing, committee sign-ups and last-minute changes go there first.
Watch the backpack. Important messages and monthly calendars still come home in hard copy.

📵 No Personal Electronics or Device Use Policy
In alignment with District 13, PS 20 is committed to optimizing our school learning environments for all students. To ensure that we are maximizing our instructional time and supporting all students’ interpersonal development, we have a schoolwide personal electronics-free policy. We believe in the importance of fostering meaningful interpersonal interactions, encouraging play, and cultivating moments of joy throughout the school day. These values help support the overall well-being and development of our students. In order to support the academic and social-emotional growth of all students, it is important that we eliminate the distraction that can come from having access to personal devices in school. PS 20, in alignment with NYC Public Schools’ guidelines, will enforce a No Cell Phone and Personal Device Policy within our school.
You’re already in the PTA
Every parent and guardian at PS 20 is a member. There's no sign-up and no dues. What there is: a few dozen jobs across the year that take an hour or two, and a handful that take more. Most people start by doing one thing, once, and decide from there.
