EVENTS
The events that make up the PS 20 year. Everything here is run by volunteers and open to every PS 20 family. These events happen every year — for this year's dates, see the calendar.
Octoberfest
An afternoon in the schoolyard with treats, pumpkins, music, and games — and the whole school together in one place.
Movie Night
Outdoor screenings in the Clermont Ave play yard. Bring a blanket, a reusable cup and the kids in pajamas.

Love Ball
Our spring gala and single biggest fundraiser — dinner, dancing and an auction that funds a good part of next year's programs.

Social Justice Run
A run and walk around the neighbourhood, raising money for the school and marking what our community stands for.

Math-A-Thon
A week of sponsored problem-solving. Students collect pledges, work through the problems, and the proceeds come back to the school.

Brotherhood Celebration
Started almost twenty years ago during Black History Month to celebrate the African diaspora, and built around a shared meal. A morning in the auditorium, cafeteria and classrooms.

Read-a-thon
Grab a book and get cozy! For a few weeks, students log the minutes they read and grow their love for reading. Every page turned helps fund school-wide literacy programs. Track your reading, cheer each other on, and let's see how far PS 20 can read together.
