PS20 Science Fair 2026

Thursday, May 21 — A message from Ms Jessica :

A big thank you to our students who represented PS 20 at the District 13 Science Fair this past week - we are so proud of all of you!

Shout out to Rio M-M, Parker S, Jeremiah D, Loic L, and Nash DR! Also, Congratulations to Jeremiah, Loic, and Nash for winning the 3rd-5th grade band at the District 13 Science Fair for their project, Building Stone Resistance to Acid Rain.

Thanks to all the families and volunteers for your support!

PS20 is happy to announce that the PS20 Science Fair will take place on Friday, March 27, 2026. Science Fair participation is mandatory for Grade 5 and will count toward their science grades. Students may choose to work alone or in a group of 2 or 3 people. Participation is optional for Grade 4 but highly encouraged. Any students in younger grades interested in participating can come see Ms. D’Amato more for info/support/supplies.

We are following all District 13 rules and guidelines for our PS20 Science Fair (note: no volcanoes, sorry!). PS20 is permitted to select 3 projects from our Science Fair to move on to the District 13 Science Fair which is scheduled to take place later in the Spring.  We look forward to supporting all of our students in creating successful Science Fair projects!

ISO STEM SPONSORS: We are actively seeking sponsors for in-kind prizes for our Fair winners as well as tabling opportunities for Friday, March 27. Please get in touch with the STEAM Committee at steam@ps20.org
